Clock Tower

The clock tower in which the colonial city clock is housed is an important entry and exit point in and out of Kampala City.
The tower is being sand witched by four (4) major roads leading into and out of the city, namely: Entebbe Road; Ggaba Road; Queen’s Way; and Kalitunsi Road respectively. Those roads are the busiest and most important gateway, leading in and out of Kampala City in terms of both motor-vehicle and human traffic.

On the average, the Clock Tower gateway witnesses the entry and exists of about 60% of the city’s daily traffic of motorists and pedestrians. The location of the tower is very strategic and unique, for that reason therefore, we are in the process of upgrading, refurbishing and beautifying the tower to admirable standards.
